Where we are. . .

We're sitting here in Sammy's backyard listening to crickets. Doodling instead of planning, chatting with Jake, enjoying the dark night and soft breeze. We've been sitting here for what feels like 2 years thinking about the last 2 years, writing various versions to share. . . but here we are... . It feels good to be back (yes it does). The fact that there's a space, a time we can etch out for the two of us to sit together - sit here together - to be present. It feels miraculous. To be present on the same page. . .

The last 2 years felt like an eternity. For Sammy, an eternity filled with gratitude, grace, and Love. For Barbara, a marathon that brought gratitude, grace and Love. For The Living Room, an opportunity to keep living her purpose as a space for self-healing. She was home for Barbara's family (and our extended family) when their home filled with water and refuge for a beautiful family of seven during their transition to a new life in America.

We are ready to be back with ourselves with each other and with you. Back in a forward kind of way. So where do we go from here? We stay here and expand out. We are without a physical space, in the meantime, exploring ways to commune. All the pieces we've collected, collectively and individually are still floating around finding their place...
